Powerful and captivating or subtle and delicate, home fragrances have the power to bring back unforgettable memories with a simple inhalation. To properly diffuse a home fragrance (in accordance with our lifestyle and desires), it is necessary to consider its diffusion duration, which depends on the capacity and type of home fragrance support chosen, as well as personal usage habits.

Below, we detail the diffusion duration of different Estéban home fragrance supports, listed from longest to shortest:

• - The Premium scented bouquet (2.5L): 6 to 12 months
• - The Triptych scented bouquet (250ml): 1 to 3 months of diffusion

The diffusion rhythm of home fragrance: progressive, immediate, or constant

The type of fragrance diffusion support also plays a role in the diffusion rhythm; thus, vegetable waxes progressively and increasingly diffuse their fragrance (up to a plateau of diffusion, reached after about 2 hours of use), while the spray allows for rapid and immediate diffusion of the home fragrance. Other supports, such as electric mist diffusers and capillary diffusers (bouquets, trees, and scented flowers that work by capillarity), dispense their fragrances constantly and autonomously, without variation in fragrance intensity. Note that the fragrance continues to diffuse for some time after the container is empty.

The diffusion intensity of home fragrance

Due to their materials and operating mode, the choice of diffusion support will play a role in diffusion intensity. Diffusion intensity is an important variable to consider because the size of the room where you intend to place the perfuming object, as well as your own expectations (desire for a more or less intense fragrance), will guide the final choice. However, within these same supports, the choice of the scented creation will also play a role. For the same bouquet format, for example, the diffusion intensity will seem lower with a soft and fresh fragrance like Esprit de thé or Terre d’agrumes, whereas it will probably be more strongly felt with a leathery wood like Figue Noire or an amber fruit like Rouge Cassis. • - all candle formats are refillable with easy-to-use candle refills that have the same qualities as the original candle, for a practical and economical gesture (please note, our 450g candle refills are not compatible with our old 450g candle model which has a metallic lacquer inside, unlike the current format which has a dark blue gradient lacquer and a less flared shape)
• - Car diffusers are also infinitely refillable: simply replace the pre-scented ceramic inside the case.
• - Finally, mist diffusers are refillable throughout the product's life because they work with drops of concentrated fragrance poured into the diffuser's tank. The fragrance can therefore be renewed indefinitely, as long as you remember to get refills.

For example, the wax in our scented candles is 100% plant-based, mainly from European rapeseed grown without GMOs; the alcohol in our scented bouquets is also plant-based (from French beetroot or organic European wheat, depending on the fragrance collections). We use rattan for the fragrance sticks in our Jardins d'intérieur universe, mulberry paper for our fragrance flowers, and wood from sustainably managed forests for our fragrance trees and candle refill caps.
