Gender equality index

Estéban publishes its Gender Equality Index.

What is this index?

Professional equality is a matter of social justice but also of economic and social performance. The Equality Index was designed as a simple and practical tool to advance equality between women and men within companies. It measures salary and situational gaps between women and men. It highlights areas for improvement when these disparities are unjustified. Each year, all companies with more than 50 employees must calculate and publish it before March 1st.

The Index is scored out of 100 points. It is calculated based on four indicators for companies with 50 to 250 employees:

1. The pay gap: comparison of average salaries for women and men, by age group and by socio-professional category (CSP) or other job classification:
0 to 40 points;

2. The gap in the distribution of individual raises between women and men:
 0 to 35 points for those with 50 to 249 employees;

3. The percentage of female employees who received a raise after returning from maternity leave:
0 or 15 points;

4. Parity between women and men among the ten highest earners:
0 to 10 points.

The gender equality index at Estéban Parfums:

As of March 1, 2026: 97 out of 100

Here are our results for each indicator:

37/40

Distribution of individual raises:

Increase upon return from maternity leave:
